Alexa has over 20 years of competitive golf experience and has been a model of success at every level of golf. In 2011, Alexa turned professional by playing in the Cactus Tour in Arizona, CN Canadian Women’s Tour, PGA of Canada Women’s Championship and successfully completed Stage 1 of the LPGA Qualifying School. She was also a member of the 2012 LPGA Symetra Tour.

After recovering from her back injury, Alexa  became a member of the PGA of Canada in 2014 and decided to coach full time to help golfers of all abilities achieve their goals. Her passion, drive and determination are sure to lead her as a top performer and instructor on the Canadian women’s professional circuit.

Anna Kim has been playing competitive golf for 13 years. She graduated from St. John’s University, where she was an outstanding player and leader for all four years. Anna has won four collegiate tournaments, named BIG EAST Player of the Year (2016), won many national level amateur tournaments and was on the Canadian National Women’s Development Team in 2012. Anna is determined on helping everyone to improve their fundamentals and swing mechanics. Her goal is to make the golf swing easy to learn so everyone can enjoy it as much as she does!

Ashley Kim has been playing competitive golf 15 years. She graduated from St. John's University in New York and played on the NCAA Division-1 Women's Golf team for all four years. Ashley had an amazing amateur golf career and with her love and passion for golf, she became a US Kids Certified Golf Coach and a member of the PGA of Canada in 2019.Ashley is always studying and researching to find her unique way of teaching everyone. With her knowledge and teaching skills, she will help you to stay motivated and become a better golfer.

AK Golf Academy provides golf lessons in North York, Thornhill and Markham area for golfers of all levels. We offer private and semi-private lessons, weekly group lessons, on course playing lessons to juniors, women, and men.

Together, with your hard work and commitment, we will help you to become a better golfer and get more enjoyment from this wonderful game.

9 HOLES
PLAYING LESSON

Golf course playing lesson starts with a quick warm up and stretch. On the course, we will focus on pre-shot routines, club selection, course management, golf rules and mental strategies. After completion of the playing lesson, we will review and plan for improvement.

2-3 Hours total- $250 / golfer
2-3 Hours total- $300 / 2 golfers
2-3 Hours total- $350 / 3 golfers

TOURNAMENT
CADDY FEE

We offer caddying role for our junior golfers competing in golf tournaments. As a caddy/coach, we provide guidance on course strategy, club selection, reading greens, and mental game. Through supportive mentorship, our junior golfers cultivate discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship.

$350 for 9 holes (In Niagara Falls and outside of GTA)

Academy Policies

Lesson Package Policy

- All the purchased lesson packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- For the private lesson, one individual must complete all the lessons within a year of starting time.

Cancellation Policy

Your golf lesson appointments and well-being are very important to us. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice.

Late Cancellations or No-Show Policy

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled on the day of the lesson. A no-show is when a student misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the student the regular lesson fee as a missed appointment.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your golf lesson appointment, please call, text, or email your golf instructor. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Semi-Private Lesson Policy

For the semi-private lesson, all participants must show at the same time for the lesson. If one of the students can not attend the lesson appointment, please notify your instructor 24 hours prior to reschedule. There is no make-up class for missed appointment.

Driving Range Policy

- Range balls are not included in our lesson fee. You must purchase a bucket of golf balls for the outdoor driving range or hourly simulator time at the indoor facility.
- At the indoor simulator facility, the mat time starts when your lesson time begins. If you arrive late, there is no extended time for the simulator time.

Payment Policy

On the first day, the golf lesson fees must be paid by cash, cheque, or  E-Transfer. We do accept credit cards but there will be an additional charge to pay with the credit cards.

Inclement Weather

In the event that there is inclement weather, the instructor will make a determination on whether the class will be rescheduled. If the instructor has not notified the participants about the cancellation or the location change, the class will resume as planned.
